Job Description

Senior Finance Manager, CFO Advisory

With continued growth, we are seeking a Senior Finance Manager to lead our CFO Advisory team of 8 people. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and self-motivated finance professional who is experienced in managing people, workflow and working across varied client projects.​

The CFO Advisory team provides the full spectrum of accounting services and finance functions to meet our ASX-listed and unlisted client’s specific requirements to advance compliance, deliver efficiency and bring value to the organisation. The team is skilled at managing all aspects of a company’s financial needs, from routine management and statutory reporting obligations, to diligent account handling, complex cash flow management and liaison with external stakeholders including; investors, shareholders, auditors, regulatory and government departments (including ASIC and ASX) and internal stakeholders.​

Responsibilities: 

  • Building and maintaining key client relationships, identifying opportunities for continued growth, developing propositions and leading business development initiatives​

  • Contributing to the development and review of our client strategy, including identifying opportunities for future service delivery and participating in business development initiatives to support continued growth of the CFO Advisory division​

  • Strong people management, leadership, coaching and people development skills​

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to simplify complex situations and synthesise, communicate and present complex information​

  • Experience in strategic analysis & planning and execution, performance metrics, project evaluation and commercial acumen

Desired Skills and Experience

Demonstrated capabilities (Skills) ​

  • Applicants at a minimum must be degree and CPA qualified​

  • 10+ years of senior commercial finance related work experience​

  • A passion for delivering innovative client solutions using your excellent communication and problem-solving skills and experience in project management​

  • Extensive experience in a consulting or industry environment, ideally working alongside ASX listed clients​

  • Experience in people management and client management, including business development​

  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written​

  • Experience in interpreting international accounting standards​
