This is a hands-on analytical role suited to someone who enjoys research, data-driven insights and translating complex governance and market information into practical outcomes. You’ll work closely with the Manager, IR Analytics and broader Capital Markets team to support client engagements, advisory deliverables and the ongoing development of Automic’s IR Analytics offering.

It’s an ideal role for someone looking to deepen their exposure to investor relations, corporate governance, remuneration and stewardship in a fast-growing fintech environment.

Job Description

What you’ll do

  • Analyse and interpret trends across markets, corporate governance, remuneration and shareholder behaviour

  • Conduct research on investor expectations, proxy advisor positions, regulatory developments and industry trends

  • Monitor market news and policy updates to ensure insights remain current and relevant

  • Support client, investor and governance engagements, including preparation and follow-up

  • Assist with IR Analytics advisory services such as beneficial holder analysis, vote tracking, governance reviews and proxy advisor engagement

  • Monitor proxy voting activity to ensure accuracy, timeliness and alignment with policies

  • Prepare high-quality reports, insights and presentations for internal and external stakeholders

  • Contribute to policy development, process improvement and enhancement of IR Analytics tools and frameworks

Desired Skills and Experience

What you’ll bring

  • Experience in an analytical, research or advisory role within financial services or professional services

  • Strong analytical and research capability with high attention to detail

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to tight deadlines

  • Clear, confident written communication skills

  • Exposure to investor relations, governance, stewardship or proxy advisory environments (preferred but not essential)

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in finance, economics, law, governance or a related discipline
