We are growing, and with that growth we have an exciting Head of Channel Partners opportunity – a senior hands-on leadership role, based in our Sydney office.

About the Role

 

This role is responsible for developing, nurturing, and managing strategic partnerships, to drive the adoption of the Automic’s industry leading platforms and services, by driving partner-sourced deal flow, distribution, and revenue, establishing and activating high-impact referral relationships and acting as a bridge between the platform and partners.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Defining and owning Automic’s channel strategy, including segmentation of investment banks, brokers, law firms, accountants, and governance professionals.
  • Designing and implementing tailored partner engagement models, referral pathways, and go-to market motions (referral, co-sell, embed, alliance) aligned to overall growth objectives.
  • Managing the full partner lifecycle, including enablement, training, co-selling, deal registration, joint marketing, and post-transaction engagement.
  • Proactively source, engage, and develop senior-level relationships with priority partners, acting as the primary commercial point of contact.
  • Driving consistent partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline and revenue, working closely with Sales and client services teams.
  • Establishing and managing channel operations, including partner agreements, SLAs, pricing frameworks, CRM/PRM processes, deal governance, and reporting.
  • Creating enablement assets—presentations, guides, case studies, and referral tools—to support partner confidence, advocacy, and pipeline generation.
  • Providing insights and recommendations to the executive team on channel effectiveness and investment priorities.
  • Building and leading a high-performing channel function aligned to Automic’s “One Automic” operating model.

Desired Skills and Experience

About you!

 

To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone to bring:

  • At least 8 years’ experience in channel partnerships, alliances, BD or ECM distribution, having being in a senior leadership role for at least 2 years
  • Experience from within financial services, capital markets, fintech, tech or professional services environments
  • Expertise of Australian ECM, including ASX rules, IPO’s, placements, & secondary transactions
  • Proven track record of building & scaling partnership programs and driving revenue & growth
  • Expert negotiator from within a regulated environments & across commercial agreements
  • A hands-on, strategic, data driven leader in approach
  • Able to demonstrate experience in partnerships and sales growth with measurable results
