We are growing, and with that growth we have an exciting Head of Victoria opportunity – a hands-on role focused on growing our client base, based in our Melbourne office.

Job Description

About the Role

 

The role focuses on identifying and converting new opportunities, managing the sales pipeline, and working closely with internal teams to deliver exceptional client experiences. Key is taking accountability for achieving assigned sales targets and building strong relationships with prospects, establishing Automic as a trusted partner.

 

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Serving as Automic’s senior commercial representative in Victoria.
  • Providing leadership, cohesion and alignment across Victoria teams and functions.
  • Identifying, prospecting, and engaging targeted corporate clients to generate new revenue opportunities.
  • Developing trusted relationships with key decision-makers and influencers across target accounts.
  • Understanding client needs, operational context, and regulatory environment to position Automic’s solutions credibly.
  • Partnering with Customer Success, Professional Services, Solutions, Product, and Operations teams to ensure feasibility and successful handover post-sale.
  • Ensuring all sales activities comply with legal, regulatory, and company standards.

Desired Skills and Experience

About you!

 

To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone to bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in business, finance or commerce
  • A proven track record in B2B Sales from financial services, corporate solutions or a managed services / SAAS environment
  • Demonstrable experience in new business development and sales target achievement
  • Strong commercial capability around proposals, contracts, solution selling & negotiation
  • Experience in cross collaboration with key operational functional teams
  • Expert sales and relationship development, especially with new potential clients
  • Able to demonstrate experience in sales growth with measurable results
