Job Description
About the Role
This role will be responsible for owning and evolving our design systems, encoding design decisions into reusable assets that allow UX & UI quality to scale. You will be at the intersection of design and engineering to create a single source of truth!
Key Responsibilities include:
Owing design systems across design and engineering
Ensuring strong alignment between Figma, storybook & production components
Establishing all governance, for the system as well as system usage documentation
Partnering closely with UI Engineers & Front-end to ensure accuracy
Desired Skills and Experience
About you!
To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with:
Proven experience in building or managing a design system
Strong product or UI design background with proven expertise in design systems
Advanced Figma expertise
Technically comfortable with HTML, CSS and Component API’s
Strong visual UI design skills with an understanding or colour, typography, hierarchy & spacing
Some knowledge of Angular Material & WCGA would be beneficial
