Job Description
About the Role
This role is all about owning the front-end architecture of design systems, building the foundational library that powers the product suite, an engineer who cares as much about developer experience as user experience. You are not just writing CSS you are building the internal product that the developers will rely on daily!
Key Responsibilities include:
Building and maintaining reusable UI components using Angular
Implementing design tokens as CSS variables and theming systems
Ensuing parity between Figma designs, storybook & production code
Extending & customising Angular material, maintaining storybook as a living source of truth and reducing duplicated CSS
Improving developer experience through clear API’, defaults & documentation
Desired Skills and Experience
About you!
To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with:
Proven experience of front-end engineering with angular
Excellent CSS skills
Experience building and/or maintaining component libraries
Confident collaborator with designers and engineers
Experience of working on large or long-lived front-end code databases would be beneficial
