Job Description
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team, supporting investment operations and system enhancements. You will act as a key liaison between business, operations, technology, and external vendors, translating operational and regulatory requirements into functional solutions.
This is a fixed term contract role (6-10 months).
Key Responsibilities
Act as a liaison between business teams, operations, technology, and external vendors.
Gather, analyse, and document business requirements (BRD, FRD and user stories).
Support implementation and enhancement of investment management systems, including configuration of system attributes, product setups, and reporting parameters.
Work across corporate actions, pricing validation, and client reporting processes.
Support testing cycles, including preparation, execution, and defect management.
Configure system attributes, product setups, and reporting parameters within InvestOne.
Work across:
RTK (Report Toolkit) for client reporting
Corporate Actions lifecycle
Pricing validation and control processes
ABOR and MBOR environments
Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend process improvements.
Desired Skills and Experience
About you!
To be successful in this role, you will have:
7–10 years in Financial Services, ideally in Asset or Wealth Management.
Strong understanding of the full trade lifecycle, multiple asset classes (Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, FX, Funds)
Knowledge of Fund Accounting principles (NAV, accruals, income, corporate actions) and Investment Operations, including reconciliations, exception handling, and break management.
Familiarity working with custodians, exchanges, or broker-dealers, and regulatory/client reporting environments is a plus.
Technical Skills & Tools
Hands-on implementation/enhancement experience with investment management platforms (e.g., InvestOne), reporting modules, and configuration of key data elements (security master, fund/product structures, corporate actions, pricing).
Familiarity with Order Management Systems (OMS) and Agile/hybrid project environments.
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, XLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, large datasets) and VBA/Macros for automating reporting and reconciliation.
Comfortable using collaboration/project tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Exposure to data mapping and reconciliation frameworks is advantageous.
Analytical & Interpersonal Skills
Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail; able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with confidence engaging stakeholders across Operations, Fund Accounting, Technology, and senior management.
Proven ability to bridge business and technical teams effectively.
