Job Description

About the Role 

We’re looking for a Manager, Fund Administration to play a key role in both client delivery and the ongoing transformation of Automic’s fund administration platform. 

This is a unique opportunity to join during a high-impact transformation phase, where you’ll be involved in onboarding, system implementation, process design, and operational readiness. As the platform moves into BAU, you’ll take ownership of client portfolios, team leadership, and operational delivery. 

You’ll sit at the centre of fund administration, working across NAV, financial reporting, tax, and compliance, while partnering with Product, Technology, and external stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-quality outcomes.  

Key Responsibilities 

  • Client Delivery & Relationship Management 

  • Manage a portfolio of fund administration clients  

  • Act as the primary point of contact for client queries and service delivery  

  • Build strong relationships with fund managers, custodians, trustees, and service providers  

  • Support onboarding and transition of clients onto new platforms  

  • Operational Delivery 

  • Oversee end-to-end fund accounting including NAV, financial reporting, tax, and compliance  

  • Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality of deliverables  

  • Manage workflow, prioritisation, and issue resolution  

  • Transformation & Implementation 

  • Support system implementation, UAT, and operational readiness activities  

  • Contribute to process design and workflow definition  

  • Assist with client onboarding to new systems and processes  

  • Process Improvement & Automation 

  • Embed new systems, processes, and automation initiatives into BAU  

  • Identify efficiencies and reduce manual processing  

  • Support transition to straight-through processing and exception-based workflows  

  • Leadership & Team Management 

  • Lead, coach, and develop fund accounting team members  

  • Drive performance, engagement, and capability uplift  

  • Support team growth in a scaling environment  

Desired Skills and Experience

Skills & Experience 

  • CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent)  

  • Strong experience in fund administration and fund accounting operations  

  • End-to-end experience across NAV, financial reporting, and tax deliverables  

  • Experience managing complex fund structures (multi-entity, multi-currency, tiered)  

  • Proven client relationship management experience  

  • Experience leading and developing teams  

  • Exposure to system implementations, platform transitions, or transformation programs  

  • Strong understanding of fund accounting systems and processes  

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills  

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability  

  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
