About the Role

This is a hands-on contract role, responsible for ensuring seamless ISO certification (9001, 37301, 27001) and GS007 audit engagements, management and outcomes. You’ll act as the central point of coordination, driving organisation, efficiency, accountability, and timely delivery of audit activities. 

Working closely with senior stakeholders across Risk, Technology, and the broader business, you’ll bring a pragmatic, delivery-focused approach to ensure audits are executed efficiently, with minimal disruption and strong outcomes.  

Key Responsibilities 

  • Assess audit readiness across ISO and GS007 requirements  

  • Coordinate and project manage external audit engagements end-to-end  

  • Act as the central point of contact for external auditors  

  • Manage audit timelines, deliverables, and information requests  

  • Work closely with business leads, Risk & Compliance, and Technology teams  

  • Drive accountability for control owners and evidence provision  

  • Facilitate audit walkthroughs, interviews, and evidence collection  

  • Provide clear updates on progress, risks, and blockers  

  • Ensure policies, procedures, and control documentation are complete and current  

  • Establish and manage a central audit evidence repository  

  • Track and manage audit requests, ensuring timely and accurate responses  

  • Monitor audit progress, identifying risks or delays early  

  • Track audit findings and remediation actions  

  • Escalate issues where required to maintain timelines  

Desired Skills and Experience

Skills & Experience 

  • CA qualified with a background in external audit (Big 4 or mid-tier)  

  • Experience at Senior Manager or Engagement Manager level (or equivalent)  

  • Strong understanding of audit processes, control frameworks, and evidence requirements  

  • Experience with ISO standards (9001, 27001, 37301) and/or GS007 (highly desirable)  

  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities  

  • Strong project management and organisational skills  

  • Ability to operate independently and drive outcomes at pace
