About the Role
As Product Manager for Global Share Plans & Tax, you will play a key strategic role in shaping Automic’s product direction in line with market trends, customer needs, and long-term business growth. You’ll act as the voice of the customer, bringing together market insights, stakeholder input, and cross-functional collaboration to develop and deliver differentiated product strategies. You will operate as a senior product thinker, balancing commercial impact, innovation, and product excellence. A core part of the role is ensuring secure-by-design practices and embedding ISMS compliance across the entire product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities include:
Shape and evolve the long-term product vision using market insights, customer needs, and strategic opportunity assessment.
Lead Voice of Customer programs and strategic client engagements to inform roadmap decisions and strengthen product-market fit.
Influence and partner cross-functionally with Sales, Delivery, Engineering, Marketing, and executives to drive aligned product direction.
Provide end-to-end product management for key product streams, including strategy, prioritisation, backlog ownership, and delivery outcomes.
Build and embed scalable product frameworks covering prioritisation, roadmap planning, continuous discovery, and outcome measurement.
Ensure secure-by-design practices and ISMS/ISO 27001 alignment across the product lifecycle through close collaboration with Cybersecurity and Risk.
Represent product vision to executives, clients, and external stakeholders, contributing to sales enablement and industry presence.
Drive innovation by identifying automation, AI-assisted workflows, and opportunities to reduce manual processes and improve efficiency.
Desired Skills and Experience
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:
5+ years in product management or product ownership roles, ideally within financial or regulated environments.
Ideally some understanding of AASB2/IFRS2 share-based payment reporting and adjacent compliance workflows.
You have hands-on experience with Global Employee Share Plans and associated tax reporting processes.
Experience delivering investor or client-facing platforms.
Strategic thinker with excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
Comfortable working in regulated reporting environments (ASIC, APRA, ATO).
