About the Role
As the Product Manager – Registry & Capital Markets, you will shape Automic’s product direction across our registry, capital markets, and reporting platforms. You’ll combine market insight, customer feedback, and cross-functional collaboration to drive a clear product vision and roadmap. You act as the voice of the customer, guiding product strategy, innovation, and commercial impact. Working closely with Engineering, Sales, Delivery, and executives, you’ll turn opportunities into high-value product outcomes. This role requires a strategic product leader who champions modern product practices and ensures secure-by-design delivery, embedding ISMS compliance across the entire product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities include:
Shape and refine the long-term product vision using market insights, emerging trends, and future client needs.
Lead strategic discovery and opportunity assessment to guide portfolio priorities, innovation, and investment decisions.
Drive Voice of Customer programs and client engagement forums to validate direction and strengthen product-market fit.
Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Delivery, Engineering, Marketing, and executives to align product direction and market fit.
Own end-to-end product management for key product streams, including strategy, backlog leadership, and delivery outcomes.
Embed secure-by-design principles and ensure ISMS / ISO 27001 alignment through close collaboration with Cybersecurity and Risk.
Represent product vision internally and externally, supporting sales enablement, executives, and industry engagement.
Desired Skills and Experience
About you.
To be successful in this role, you will:
Have 5+ years’ experience in product management or product ownership within registry, capital markets, funds, or financial services environments.
Bring knowledge of funds administration, company registry operations.
Understand fund operations, unit registry, custody, and investor-facing platform delivery.
Be comfortable operating in regulated environments (ASIC, ASX, APRA, ATO, CHESS/CHESS Replacement, Corporations Act).
Ideally understand company secretarial requirements, governance frameworks, and regulatory disclosure obligations.
Have excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and influence across business and technical teams.
A delivery-led mindset with strong product execution skills.
