Job Description
About the Role
We’re looking for a Solution Analyst – Data Migration to play a critical role in delivering Listed Registry and Employee Share Plan (ESP) transitions.
This is a highly specialised role where you’ll take ownership of end-to-end data migration design and execution, ensuring data is accurately transformed, reconciled, and onboarded into Automic’s platforms. You’ll sit at the intersection of business requirements, data structures, and system configuration, helping ensure seamless and high-quality client transitions.
You’ll be involved across the full lifecycle—from data mapping and transformation through to reconciliation, testing, and cutover, working closely with project teams and stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Define and execute end-to-end data migration strategies (ETL: extract, transform, load)
Lead data mapping between incumbent systems and Automic platforms
Own migration specifications across shareholder registers, holdings, transactions, corporate actions, and ESP data
Analyse complex datasets from registries, administrators, and ESP providers
Define transformation rules and business logic for data conversion
Identify data gaps, anomalies, and quality issues early in the lifecycle
Execute migration activities including dry runs and production cutovers
Design and perform reconciliation frameworks with defined tolerances
Investigate and resolve data breaks across balances, transactions, and registers
Produce migration reports and support data sign-off
Translate data requirements into system-ready configurations
Ensure alignment between data structures and platform setup
Support integrations (file interfaces, APIs, and external providers)
Support SIT and UAT with data-driven test scenarios
Validate outputs across systems post-migration
Participate in cutover planning and execution (including weekend activity where required)
Support post go-live hypercare and issue resolution

Strong experience in data migration within financial services, registry, or ESP environments
Deep understanding of data structures (shareholder registers, holdings, transactions, ESP data models)
Strong SQL and advanced Excel skills for data interrogation and analysis
Proven experience with data mapping, transformation, and reconciliation frameworks
Experience working across system implementations, migrations, or transitions
Understanding of integration concepts (APIs, file-based interfaces)
Strong problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
Ability to work across both technical and business stakeholders
