Job Description

About the Role  

The Agile Delivery Lead is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of initiatives and projects within Automic's product and technology pipeline, working with cross-functional teams using agile methods. 

This role enables high-performing teams, ensures predictable delivery, and drives continuous improvement across people, process, technology, security, and operational outcomes. It also supports the adoption of AI-enabled practices to enhance productivity, reporting, and decision-making. 

The successful candidate is a strong facilitator and servant leader who balances delivery execution, stakeholder expectations, and team effectiveness in a fast-paced environment. 

Key Responsibilities include:  

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of initiatives across Automic's product pipeline using agile frameworks and cross-functional teams. 

  • Facilitate planning activities including scoping, estimation, prioritisation, dependency management, and capacity planning. 

  • Manage delivery execution across timelines, scope, risks, issues, blockers, and stakeholder communication while protecting sprint integrity and team capacity. 

  • Build high-performing teams by fostering accountability, transparency, ownership, and continuous improvement. 

  • Design, implement, and continuously improve delivery processes, governance, metrics, and reporting practices. 

  • Promote AI-enabled tools and automation to improve delivery efficiency, forecasting, reporting, and operational effectiveness. 

 

Desired Skills and Experience

About you!  

To be successful in this role, you will have: 

  • 8–10 years’ experience in Agile Delivery, Delivery Lead, or similar roles. 

  • Proven experience delivering in agile environments using timeboxed sprints across multiple teams. 

  • Proficient in Jira and Confluence. 

  • Familiarity with PM/PMO governance frameworks. 

  • Scrum Master or relevant agile certification (preferred). 

  • Financial services experience (desirable, not essential).
