About the role

This role sits at the intersection of operations, risk and regulation. You’ll be accountable for embedding operational compliance into day-to-day Fund Registry activities — translating regulatory and policy requirements into practical, scalable controls that support high-quality client outcomes. This is a hands-on, influential role suited to someone who balances regulatory rigour with operational pragmatism and enjoys partnering closely with operational leaders to uplift compliance capability.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and maintain the Fund Registry operational compliance framework, including obligations mapping and assurance activities
  • Embed regulatory and internal policy requirements into BAU workflows, procedures, and service standards
  • Partner with Risk & Compliance on regulatory change and ongoing compliance monitoring
  • Design, implement, and oversee operational controls, monitoring, and testing programs
  • Lead end-to-end management of compliance incidents and breaches, including investigations, root-cause analysis, and remediation
  • Support internal and external audits, regulatory reviews, and client due diligence activities
  • Act as a trusted operational compliance advisor to Fund Registry leaders and teams
  • Build frontline compliance capability through coaching, training, and practical guidance
  • Identify opportunities to streamline, automate, and strengthen controls without increasing risk

Skills and Experience

  • Experience in operational compliance within financial services, funds, registry, or investor administration
  • Strong understanding of risk-based compliance and embedding controls into operational processes
  • Proven experience managing incidents, breaches, and remediation activities
  • Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders across operations, risk, legal, and technology
  • Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical and scalable solutions
  • High attention to detail with sound judgement in assessing risk and materiality
  • Experience supporting audits, reviews, or regulatory interactions
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, Law, Risk, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
