Job Description
Drive revenue growth for the investor relations analytics offering by originating, developing, and converting new client opportunities while expanding existing relationships. The role is responsible for building a high-quality pipeline aligned to target segments (listed companies, investor relations teams, asset managers), leading complex sales processes, and positioning data and analytics solutions to support client engagement, capital raising, and market insight needs.
Acting as a key market-facing representative, the role brings strong understanding of investor relations practices, shareholder analytics, and capital markets dynamics to identify opportunities, shape solutions, and influence outcomes. The role partners closely with product, data, and delivery teams to ensure solutions are commercially viable, scalable, and aligned to client requirements.
The role also contributes to go-to-market strategy, including identifying new segments, informing product enhancements, and strengthening competitive positioning in a data-driven and evolving market.
Principal Accountabilities
Develop and execute a strategic new business plan to drive growth of Automic's Investor Relations Analytics (IRA) solutions.
Identify, qualify, and convert new logo opportunities across listed companies and corporate Australia.
Build and maintain relationships with Investor Relations professionals, Company Secretaries, CFOs, CEOs, and Executive stakeholders.
Manage the full sales lifecycle from prospecting and pipeline development through to negotiation and close.
Deliver compelling client presentations, proposals, and commercial solutions aligned to customer needs.
Achieve revenue, pipeline, and client acquisition targets through disciplined sales execution.
Develop strategic account plans and uncover opportunities to expand Automic's presence within target organisations.
Partner with Product, Marketing, Client Success, and Account Management teams to support go-to-market initiatives and client outcomes.
Represent Automic at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build market awareness and generate opportunities.
Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasting, pipeline reporting, and sales activity management.
Provide market intelligence and customer insights to support product development, positioning, and commercial strategy.
Ensure compliance with Automic sales processes, governance standards, and reporting requirements.

Desired Skills and Experience
To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Have:
Proven success in B2B business development, enterprise sales, or new business acquisition roles.
Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding revenue, pipeline, and client acquisition targets.
Experience selling analytics, data, market intelligence, governance, SaaS, or capital markets solutions.
Strong understanding of Investor Relations Analytics (IRA), shareholder intelligence, investor engagement, and the role data plays in supporting listed company decision-making.
Knowledge of the listed company ecosystem, including Investor Relations, Company Secretariat, Executive Leadership, and Governance functions.
Experience building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders including CFOs, Company Secretaries, Investor Relations professionals, CEOs, and Boards.
Proven ability to develop, manage, and convert a strategic sales pipeline through structured prospecting, opportunity management, and commercial negotiation.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify client challenges and articulate compelling value propositions.
Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from prospecting through to close.
Strong presentation, communication, proposal development, and negotiation skills.
Ability to operate autonomously, prioritise opportunities, and make sound commercial decisions.
Experience maintaining accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM discipline.
Ability to collaborate effectively across Product, Marketing, Customer Success, and broader Go-To-Market teams.

Existing networks across Investor Relations, listed companies, corporate governance, or capital markets.
Experience working within a high-growth technology or private equity-backed environment.
