As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead one of our Fund Registry operational teams. 

 

Job Description

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Fund Operations, Fund Registry Operations, you'll be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of a Fund Registry Pod, ensuring outstanding service delivery, operational excellence and strong risk management.

You'll lead and develop a high-performing team, oversee operational performance, drive continuous improvement initiatives and work closely with Client Success, Technology, Product and Compliance teams to deliver exceptional outcomes for our clients.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced operations leader with a strong background in Fund Registry or Unit Registry who enjoys building capable teams and improving operational performance.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of a Fund Registry Pod, ensuring exceptional client service and operational delivery.
  • Manage team performance to achieve service levels, productivity and quality objectives.
  • Ensure client SLAs are consistently achieved while maintaining strong operational risk and compliance standards.
  • Support the onboarding of new clients and the growth of existing client relationships.
  • Lead incident management activities, including investigation, resolution and preventative action planning.
  • Develop and enhance operational procedures, controls and best practices.
  • Deliver operational training programs to build capability across the team.
  • Drive initiatives that improve productivity, quality and operational capacity.
  • Coach, mentor and develop team members through regular feedback and performance conversations.
  • Plan team resources and capacity to meet changing business demands.
  • Collaborate with Client Success, Product, Technology and Compliance teams to deliver shared business outcomes.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation and continuous improvement.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Demonstrated experience within Fund Registry or Unit Registry operations.
  • Strong understanding of managed funds, registry operations and the associated regulatory environment.
  • Proven experience leading operational teams and delivering high-quality client outcomes within a fast-paced financial services environment.
  • A successful track record of achieving service level agreements (SLAs), improving operational performance and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Experience coaching, mentoring and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and collaborate across Client Success, Technology, Product, Risk & Compliance and other business functions.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • A proactive, resilient and accountable leadership style with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Experience within managed funds, financial services or a regulated operational environment will be highly regarded.
