As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Business Analyst to join our Employee Share Plans (ESP) Transitions team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in onboarding new clients, ensuring employee share plans are accurately configured, tested and ready for a seamless transition to Automic.

About the Role
Reporting to the Project Director – Customer Solutions, you'll work closely with Project Managers, Data Analysts and operational teams to deliver successful Employee Share Plan implementations.
While your title will be Business Analyst, this role has a strong operational focus. You'll be responsible for translating complex employee share plan documentation into accurately configured solutions, managing data migrations, supporting testing activities, and ensuring every client is ready for a successful go-live.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in employee share plans, share registry or equity administration who enjoys combining analytical thinking with hands-on delivery.
Role Responsibilities:
Plan Analysis & Requirements
Review employee share plan documentation, trust deeds, grant agreements and plan rules
Analyse plan structures including options, rights, RSUs, deferred shares and ESS arrangements
Identify complex plan requirements and potential implementation risks
Support discovery workshops and document business requirements for new client implementations
Data Migration & Configuration
Prepare, validate and reconcile participant data from incumbent providers
Configure employee share plans, grant types, vesting schedules and corporate actions within Automic's platform
Perform detailed reconciliations to ensure complete data accuracy prior to go-live
Maintain migration logs and manage implementation issues through to resolution
Testing & Validation
Develop and execute testing scenarios across all plan events
Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with clients
Validate participant communications, tax reporting and payroll interfaces
Ensure all critical defects are resolved prior to implementation
Stakeholder Management
Partner with client HR and Payroll teams throughout onboarding
Liaise with incumbent providers, trustees and brokers during transitions
Support participant communication planning and implementation activities
Build trusted relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
Go-Live & Continuous Improvement
Execute implementation and cutover activities
Provide post go-live support and resolve early operational issues
Prepare comprehensive handover documentation for ongoing operations
Identify opportunities to improve onboarding processes, templates and automation

To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
Experience within Employee Share Plans (ESP), share registry, equity administration or related financial services
Strong understanding of employee share plan structures, vesting schedules and equity administration
Experience managing data migrations, reconciliations or system implementations
Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy
Experience coordinating testing activities, including UAT
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and project deadlines
Highly Regarded
Experience within registry, fund administration or custody services
Exposure to payroll integrations or Single Touch Payroll (STP)
Experience supporting transition or implementation projects
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Finance or a related discipline
