About the Role 

We are looking for a detail driven and collaborative Associate, Payment Operations to support he accurate, timely and compliant delivery of payment activites across Automic's registry and Fund Services.  

In this role, you'll manage end-to-end payment processes including distributions and dividends, work closely with internal and external stakeholders and help ensure our shared services run smoothy at scale.

Desired Skills and Experience

Key Responsibilities include 

  • Process client payment activities – distributions, dividends, and related transactions – with accuracy and timeliness. 
  • Support the setup of corporate actions, payment templates, reconciliations and DRP (Distribution Reinvestment Plan) units. 
  • Liaise directly with clients and internal teams to ensure all payment requirements are clearly understood and met. 
  • Assist with ATO and tax reporting (including annual and quarterly submissions). 
  • Monitor workflow queues (JIRA) and support the broader team during busy periods. 
  • Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency across Automic’s shared service function. 

 

About you! 

You'll bring: 

  • Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline preferred but not essential.  
  • 1–3 years’ experience in operations, payments, or financial administration, ideally within financial services, fintech, or fund administration.  
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy in payment processing, reconciliations, and reporting.  
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, both written and verbal.  
  • High attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to manage competing priorities. 
  • Advanced Excel proficiency and familiarity with workflow tools such as JIRA.
